GOD OF WAR sword - Tutorial
Tutorial Overview: Modeling, Unwrapping, Texturing, and Rendering the Blade of Chaos
Duration: 18.5 Hours
Tutorial Contents:
Modeling: +17 hours dedicated to the modeling process of the legendary Blade of Chaos in 3ds Max and ZBrush. The tutorial provides clear instructions for an easy-to-follow modeling process. Begin by preparing a proxy mesh from reference, then sculpt it in ZBrush. After creating the high-poly version, recreate a low-poly version from the high-poly.
Unwrapping & Texturing: +90 minutes of unwrapping in Rizom UV and texturing in Substance Painter. Each part undergoes careful consideration for the workflow. Start by setting UVs in one tile and using the overlap technique. Proceed to bake high poly to low poly for the project and work on the texture in Substance Painter.
Rendering: In the rendering phase, opt for the real-time render engine Marmoset Toolbag. Import the model and textures, create materials with textures, and set up lights and camera for the final presentation.
